Toxicity: Acute oral LD50 for male rats 2198 mg/kg, for females 2355 mg/kg. Acute percutaneous LD50 for rats > 5000 mg/kg; not irritant to eyes , slight to skin.Non-mammalian toxicity. Not mutagenic in Rec assays.

Function: Persistent insecticide and acaricide with contact and stomach action; Not translocated in the plant. Inhibits moulting of nymphs and larvae, leading to death. Also suppresses oviposition by adults; Treated insects lay sterile eggs.
Application crops: The product is a selective insecticide with insect growth regulating activity, it can be effectively used on paddy rice, vegetables, soybean, fruits, tea nad flowers or ornamental plants for control of Hemiptera such as planthoppers, leafplants, whiteflies and scales.
